Saddle up for the Fort Worth Stockyards National Day of The American Cowboy on Saturday, July 24th.
This Annual event has been named The Best Event of its kind in the nation by western lifestyle magazine, American Cowboy. So, don't miss out on a day dedicated to the cowboy and lots of fun!

· 11:00- 2:00 Texas-Size Art contest – FREE All buckaroos gallop over to the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame for a contest full of fun and trophies! Winners announced at 2pm
· 11:30 Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive followed by the Cowboy Celebration Parade –FREE
· 1:00 Watermelon Eating Contests – FREE Yum! Eat your watermelon the fastest and you win!
· 1:00- 2:00 “Tip to Tip” Guessing Contest- FREE Guess the measurement of Walter’s horns and win a unique prize! Winners announced at 2pm
· 1:00-3:00 Quick Draw Cap Gun Contest- FREE Are you the fastest draw in the West? Prove it!
· 1:15 Most Worn-Out Boot Contest - $5 Entry Fee Wear your best pair of worn out boots and you could win a new pair from Justin Boots
· 1:30 Best Mustache Contest – FREE All types of mustaches welcome to compete!
· 1:30 – 3:00 Fort Worth Herd CowCamp – FREE Learn to swing a rope and learn about life on the trail
· 2:00 Riscky's Rib Eating Contest - $5 Entry Fee Eat finger lickin’ good ribs for prizes!
· 2:30- 4:00 Texas Trail of Fame Living History Presentations – FREE Learn about the lives of famous cowboys and cowgirls.
· 2:30- 3:00 Legends of Texas Live Performance- FREE
· 4:00 Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive – FREE
