What is Herd Experience?
Experience life on the trail first-hand during the Herd Experience with The Fort Worth Herd. This free, interactive program allows adults and children a LIVE experience interacting with the Drovers while they use tools which were used during the Cattle Drive Era. Activities can include: viewing the grooming and saddling a horse, roping, branding, chuck wagon stories, photo opportunities and cattle drive demos.
How to find us:
Herd Experience with The Fort Worth Herd is held at the Herd Observation deck directly east of the Livestock Exchange Building in the Stockyards National Historic District and/or at the barn directly behind the Livestock Exchange Building.
